  1. Already we are dying with Income Tax, Sales Tax, Service Tax, Excise Duties, Proffessional Taxes, Vehicle Registration fees, Toll Bridge taxes etc. Roads are in bad conditions and hence our vehicles are getting repaired. In case of rains all the roads are like rivers and again our vehicles are spoiling. Further all the above woes these traffic challans. Traffic Police are very enthusiastic to fine the vehicle owners. No parking areas for our vehicles, if we park road side, again fine. If our gross earnings are Rs.10.00 lakhs, we are paying around 7 to 8 lakhs towards the above direct and indirect taxes and fines. We are unable to tolerate the systems.

    1. It is better to pay a fine of Rs 1000 when in fault, rather get away by paying Rs 100 and get away, now really tell where the problem lay. Be ready to pay the consequence when you have done a wrong my father said and i did that when my son tried to get away i preferred a paid challan...i am sure we can change ourselves first before expecting a change in others... I have always been proud of traffic police for their matchless service, odd incidence will not deter my confidence in them. I Salute every traffic police big or small officer and men...all the time..John Jude Peters email...jjpsbi1958@gmail.com

  5. VERY SAD STATE OF FINING AND PENALIZING PUBLIC THROUGH CERTAIN ENVIABLE TRAFFIC RULES. THE TRAFFIC RULES SHOULD BE MEANT FOR IMPROVING THE ROAD DISCIPLINE. THE MAIN MOTTO SHOULD NOT BE TO MAXIMIZE REVENUE FROM PUBLIC . IT APPEARS TARGETS ARE GIVEN TO CRANE SIS. DURING A MONTH THEY HAVE LIMITS . IN ORDER TO INCREASE REVENUE THEY LEVY FINE INDISCRIMINATELY . THE BEST EXAMPLE IS ON 26/01/2018 NEAR NARAYANAGUDA ONE SI WITH HIS VEHICLE WAS PATROLLING OBSTRUCTING THE WAY OF THE PUBLIC . THE TRAFFIC CONSTABLE STOPPED MY VEHICLE AND ASKED FOR DOCUMENTS LIKE RC AND LICENSE . I REMOVED THE BELT AND TOOK OUT MY VALET AND SHOWED THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS . THE CONSTABLE WENT THE OTHER SIDE AND SHOWED TO THE SI IN CHARGE COLLECTING FINES . THE CONSTABLE WANTED ME TO FOLLOW HIM TO THE SI . AFTER
SOMETIME THE SI HIMSELF CAME AINCE I DID NOT GO . I WAS RETURNING FROM VET HOSPITAL WITH MY PET IN THE VEHICLE WHICH IS NOT WELL AND I COULD NOT FOLLOW . I AM A SENIOR ADVOCATE WORKING IN HIGH COURT . THE SI SINCE THE DOCUMENTS ARE PERFECT , WANTED TO SOMEHOW FINE ME AND PREPARED CHALLN FOR BELT NOT WEARING . I SURPRISED AND ASKED IS IT REQUIRED TO WEAR BELT WHEN VEHICLE NOT IN MOTION AND IN HALT . HE ANNOYED AND SAID I SHOULD GIVE HIM MY PHONE NUMBER . I SAID WHY IT IS NEEDED .. HE SAID YOU ASK THE DGP. HE TREATENED THAT I AM QUESTIONING AND IT IS BEING RECORDED . FINALLY I TOOK THE CHALLAN AND LEFT THE PLACE . HE STOPPED ME AND FOUND ALL RECORDS INTACT . SOMEHOW TO SATISY HIS EGO HE WANTED TO VICTIMISE WITH SOME FINE . THIS IS THE ATTITUDE OF THE PEOPLE TAKING LAW INTO THE HANDS . IF THE POLICE WANT TO FINE PEOPLE THEY SHOULD FIRST ENSURE , PROPER ROADS , PARKING AREAS , SIGNAL LIGHTS NOT MANUAL , REAL FRIENDLY POLICING TRYING TO TELL THE VEHCLE OWNERS FOR MINOR ASPECTS . THE ATTITUDE OF THE TRAFFIC POLICE IS VERY DEPLORABLE . THE GOVVERNMENT AND THE TOP OFFICIALS SHOULD FIRST EDUCATE ITS STAFF AND IMPLEMENT THE THE RULES . THE TARGET APPROACH SHOULD GO.
